A brand campaign targets searches for your business name, ensuring your company appears at the top when potential customers search for you directly. This is a defensive strategy. Without it, competitors can bid on your business name and steal your customers. Brand campaigns are supplemental to your main service campaigns and use a small portion of your total budget.
- Brand campaigns use approximately 5-10% of your total monthly ad budget
- Brand campaigns are supplemental and do not replace your service-focused campaigns
- Requires a minimum total budget to enable (budget must support at least 2 service campaigns plus the brand campaign)
- Brand CPCs are typically much lower than service keywords ($2-5 vs $30-70)
